Single occupent cars to 14 seater minibuses are available, all are crewed by qualified ambulance personnel. Specialist escorts are available who have advanced training (including the administration of emergency drugs) in the transportation of people who suffer from epilepsy, anaphylaxis and diabetes. All escorts hold an Ambulance Care Assistant qualification, an Advanced First Aid Certificate and have had intensive training in the handling and securing of wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
